I'm looking at getting some new tires for my 2007 Silverado 1500, 265/70/17's. I tow a tent trailer (around 2700lbs) and a firewood trailer (not sure exactly but probably a bit heavier... maybe 3500 - 4000lbs?)

What load range should I be going for?

Door jamb says the max payload is 1650lbs and Google says the max towing capacity is 7700lbs. Standard load tires (115/6 ply) are rated for 2679 lbs, E load rated tires are 3197 lbs.

I'm thinking the 6 ply are enough since they're good for quite a bit more than the rated payload of the truck but I'm not sure if I'm looking at it right. Opinions?
